🦺 The Role
We're looking for a Jobsite Solutions Specialist to drive growth across our expanding portfolio of contractor-focused jobsite products from Southwire and Eaton including:
• Cable Pulling Equipment (Maxis® Pullers & Accessories)
• Conduit Benders & Fabrication Tools
• Temporary Power & Lighting
• Test & Measurement Equipment
• Hand Tools & Storage Solutions
• Safety & Productivity Solutions
• Jobsite Power Distribution
• And many other innovative contractor solutions
This is a highly interactive, field-based sales position focused on helping electrical contractors work safer, smarter, and more efficiently. You'll demonstrate products on jobsites, conduct hands-on training, educate distributor partners, and become the trusted resource customers rely on to solve everyday jobsite challenges.
🚀 What You'll Do
Demonstrate Solutions
• Conduct live product demonstrations at our Solutions Center facility or at customer jobsites, distributor locations, etc
• Utilize our Solutions Trailer to get product into the field for trainings and/or sample demo's
• Showcase innovative tools and equipment that improve jobsite productivity and safety
• Provide hands-on training for contractors, electricians, and distributor sales teams
Drive Growth
• Expand market share across Southwire and Eaton jobsite solutions
• Identify opportunities to introduce new products and technologies
• Support distributor partners through joint sales calls and customer visits
• Help convert product demonstrations into long-term customer adoption
Build Relationships
• Become the go-to resource for contractors seeking safer and more efficient ways to complete their work
• Develop strong partnerships with electrical contractors, distributor personnel, and manufacturer teams
• Deliver educational events, counter days, contractor breakfasts, and jobsite training sessions
Be the Jobsite Expert
• Stay current on the latest innovations in contractor tools, safety products, and jobsite technology
• Understand contractor workflows and recommend solutions that save time, reduce labor, and improve safety
• Represent The Agency at trade shows, customer events, and industry functions
✅ What We're Looking For
• Experience in the electrical industry, electrical distribution, contractor sales, or construction preferred
• Passion for teaching, demonstrating products, and working directly with customers
• Comfortable speaking to groups and leading hands-on training sessions
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and energized by spending time in the field
• Electrcial aptitude and a genuine interest in tools, equipment, and innovative jobsite solutions
• Ability to haul a trailer
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern Illinois, Central Illinois and Northwest Indiana
